INVITED LECTURERS
Prof. Anne MacPhail, PhD.

Ann's main teaching and research interests revolve around physical education teacher education, young people in sport, curriculum development in physical education, teaching, learning and assessment issues within school physical education, methodological issues in working with young people and ethnography. Ann has been involved in a number of research projects as a member of the Physical Education, Physical activity and Youth Sport Research Centre (PE-PAYS) at the University of Limerick.

Prof. Pierre Samozino, PhD.

Pierre Samozino is an Associate Professor at the Sport Sciences department of University Savoie Mont Blanc in Chambery (France). His research activities, performed in the Interuniversity Laboratory of Human Movement Biology (LIBM), are mainly based on biomechanical approaches and focus on human locomotion and on muscle mechanical properties in relation to sport performance. 

Prof. Caroline Finch, PhD.

Caroline Finch joined Edith Cowan University (ECU) in 2018 as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and Vice-President with the responsibility for leading research at ECU.

Prof. Wladimir Andreff, PhD.

Honorary President and former President (2002-05) of the International Association of Sport Economists, Honorary President of the European Sports Economics Association, former President of the French Economic Association (2007-08) and Honorary Member and former President of the European Association for Comparative Economic Studies (1997-98).

Prof. Jay Coakley, PhD.

The primary focus of my professional life continues to be revising Sports in Society: Issues and Controversies, with the 12th edition published in 2017 (McGraw-Hill Education).

Prof. Carl Foster, PhD.

Carl is the Director of the Human Performance Laboratory, is the Research Director of the CEP program, and teaches a number of courses in the curriculum (ESS 744: Laboratory Techniques in Clinical Exercise Physiology, EFN 730: Research Methods, ESS 780: Philosophy and Organization of Preventative and Rehabilitative Programs).

Prof. Lex Mauger, PhD.

Lex completed his BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Exeter University and graduated with First Class honours in 2006. He then went on to complete his PhD at Exeter University in 2010. Between 2009 and 2011 Lex worked as a Lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire, before joining the University of Kent in 2011.

AIM

Broadening of scientific insights into the latest research, theoretical and applicative findings and experiences from the vast field of kinesiology, the science of human movement, sport and exercise. A presentation of the latest information is expected from the basic principles to practical applications, especially reports on new scientific breakthroughs such as the human genome research, application of new technologies, revised educational concepts and, above all, the urgent need to find more effective ways of health preservation and well-being.  The aim of the Conference is also to enhance further cooperation between scholars and institutions in various competitive projects in different fields of kinesiology.
