From 1971 the Faculty has been publishing scientific journal “Kineziologija”. It has been secondary referenced since 1985, and internationally recognized by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Technology since 1995. In the period 1996-2000 the journal was issued in two languages - Croatian (Kineziologija) and English (Kinesiology). Since the 32nd volume it has been published only in the English language, but each article is provided with an extended summary in the Croatian language. It is indexed in American Psychological Abstracts: PsycLIT and PsycINFO, SportDISCUS, Sociedad Iberoamericana de Information Sientifica (SIIC) – Argentina, EBSCO, Sports Documentation Bulletin, Sports Medicine Bulletin. From the volume 40, number 1, year 2008, it has been included in the Web of Science citation databases: Social Science Citation Index and Science Citation Index Expanded. Original scientific papers, reviews, and preliminary communications are published, written by both Croatian and foreign authors. The contributions are subjected to a double anonymous evaluation and only those are published that have received positive reviews from prominent domestic and international peer referees, kinesiologists and scientists from adjacent and cognate fields. Since 2008 the journal is indexed by SCI and SSCI database and from 2009 also by SCOPUS.
