Ivan Bon, PhD

Title: Assistant

Ivan Bon, PhD is employed as an assistant at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb, where he teaches the mandatory course Skiing in the integrated university study programme of kinesiology, as well as in the professional study programme for coach education.

He is involved in the design and implementation of general and sport-specific tests for measuring and evaluating motor abilities and motor knowledge. He also contributes to the development and validation of testing protocols for specific training methods and skills. His main areas of interest include kinematic and kinetic analysis, teaching methods, and diagnostic procedures, particularly in alpine skiing. He earned his PhD in 2025 at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb, with a dissertation titled: "Differences in Kinematic and Kinetic Turn Parameters Between Skiers of Different Skill Levels."
