The symposium will be held within the Conference in Opatija, on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The keynote lecture will be presented by one of the most prominent researchers in this field, Prof. Emeritus Jay Coakley. The 13th edition of his well-known textbook "Sports in Society: Issues and Controversies" is published in 2020!
One of the introductory lectures for the symposium will be presented by Dr. Richard Mills, the author of the book "The Politics of Football in Yugoslavia: Sport, Nationalism and the State" released in 2017. More about dr. Mills: https://people.uea.ac.uk/r_mills.
