This year, the Faculty of Kinesiology solemnly marked 60 years of activity and work. Since its founding in 1959, the Faculty of Kinesiology has produced a significant number of experts working in the field of sports around the world. Today, more than five thousand of them work as kinesiologists in numerous professions whose goal is a healthier and more active life for all of us. Some of them are Olympic winners, top coaches or professors that we fondly remember from physical education and health classes.

On November 20, 2019, many friends and associates of the Faculty of Kinesiology from Croatia and abroad came to the solemn celebration of the 60th anniversary.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary, head of project „Development and implementation of the postgraduate specialist study Prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries“, Assistant Professor Sanja Šalaj was awarded for international and national projects.
